I would like to make some suggestions for the next minor release of the plugin. These suggestions are just to improve usability

    1) It would be really helpful if we can optionally show or hide the “name”, “email” fields in the comment form. There are many websites which do not use the email and name fields, so that their members can register with them. Also as you know there are functions in WordPress which can be used to hide the name and email fields in the default comment form. SO it would be nice to see those abilities in WPDiscuz as well.

2)Rearrange the dashboard settings page. As of now all the main settings are in one place in the form of a long list, and as more options and more features are added in feature the settings options will keep on increasing. So it would be advisable to group and reorder the settings into subcategories like “General”, “Subscriptions”, “Advanced” etc.

    3) If the site is already using Jquery, I think it is better to have an option to make use of that rather than activate the Jquery files of the plugin. That might help in performance increase I guess.

    4) The current screen which comes when we post a comment, I mean the loading screen, is too big. It takes up the whole screen area. Just imagine if 4 people are engaged in a conversation and they are posting comments very quickly. They will have to see that loading screen a lot of times. So its better to reduce the loading screen size.

    5) It would be really good to have a dark theme as well by default. The reason is a large portion of WordPress admins are not adapted to CSS. So they might prefer something, more “plug and play” by nature.

    6) Last but not the least, if possible, try to test the future versions of the plugin in HHVM as well. It is a really promising platform where plugins can perform at their peak capacity.

    Hi Rahul,
Thank you for these suggestion and help. We really appreciate it.

    Ok

This has been already planned, and on the top of our to-do list.

    3) If the site is already using Jquery, I think it is better to have an option to make use of that rather than activate the Jquery files of the plugin. That might help in performance increase I guess.

    ok

    4) The current screen which comes when we post a comment, I mean the loading screen, is too big. It takes up the whole screen area. Just imagine if 4 people are engaged in a conversation and they are posting comments very quickly. They will have to see that loading screen a lot of times. Don’t think this is an important thing. However we’ll keep this in our mind.

We don’t have any templates. All can use color picker and set backgrounds for comment system. It doesn’t request CSS skills. Just one click color picking, that’s it.

I don’t know what is this. And don’t think this is an important aspect.
