    Hi
This truly is a fantastic plug-in! For some reason the only function that works in my TableTools is the print function. It doesn’t do anything when I click on ‘Copy to Clip board’ Save as pdf’ ‘csv’ etc. I deactivated all my plugins just to see if there was a conflict and still no joy. thanks for your help. I’ve tried it in multiple browsers as well but no luck either.

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.
For these functions to work, your browser needs to have Flash installed and enabled.
Can you check if that is the case?

    Regards,
    Tobias

Yes it is installed on the browsers (Chrome comes with it by default)

    Thanks

    Hi,

ok, and is it enabled? Specifically, in Chrome it might be possible that the “Click to play” is enabled for Flash. In that case, you should see a small symbol that looks like a jigsaw piece and a red cross through on the right side of the omnibar.

If that’ still not it, can you post the link to the page with the table where this is not working, so that I can take a look?

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi Tobias
The flash is enabled. here is a link to a page that has the tables at the bottom in the accordions : https://www.republictimes.net/sports/columbia/

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi,

thanks for the link! I can confirm that the other buttons are not working on that page, but I have no clue why that is the case. ?? The rest of the JavaScript code is working, the Flash file is loaded, but, indeed, nothing happens…
As I don’t have that much knowledge about the internals of the TableTools script (I only added it to that TablePress Extension), my suggestion would be to directly ask the developer of the TableTools JavaScript library for help, in the forums at https://www.datatables.net
He might be able to spot why this happens.

    Regards,
    Tobias

The problem is in the toggles, tabs and accordions hidden.
Test set starting an accordion open to load the web and see if it works.
    Regards!!
And Tobias, my compliments for your excellent work with the plugin.

    Hi,

thanks for this information! That might indeed be the reason for the problem! Do you happen to know if this can be changed without having to have the accordion open initially?

And thanks for the nice words! I really appreciate it! If you want, you can rate TablePress here in the plugin directory. Thanks!

    Hi Tobias~

All the table tools work correctly if they are not in an accordion. But once you put them in an accordion only the print function works. Do you know if there is something I can do to fix this issue?

    Thanks

    Hi,

then it is very likely related to the accordion, as rnsystems pointed out above. Maybe he knows a way to change this?! I have no clue why this happens, unfortunately ??

Another idea would be to ask this in the DataTables forums at https://www.datatables.net, as mentioned above. I can imagine, that the TableTools developer knows a way to make this work. If he does, I’ll gladly implement it in the Extension.

    Regards,
    Tobias
