On multisite install, upload folder is divided for each subsite

For example if I upload a profile picture with your plugin on the subsite with the id “1”, the profile picture will be uploaded in “/wp-content/uploads/sites/1/ultimatemember/*userid*”

But a common folder exist for the entire multisite network, you have to use the path “/wp-content/uploads/ultimatemember/*userid*”

In this case the profile picture and cover picture will be shared between subsites. I don’t know how to do this, but I know that it’s the issue (it was the same problem with UserPro at the beginning).

Thanks you for your kind words and your suggestions on how to get the plugin working with multi-site. We have initially focused on creating a stable version of the plugin that works well on standard wp installs but multi-site compatibility is something we will be working on in the near future.

Regarding private messaging this is something we would also like to create but this would be in the form of a plugin extension and not part of core. This way we can keep the core plugin lightweight.

A myCRED integration would certainly be useful but I imagine the plugin author will probably want to wait until Ultimate Member has grown in popularity before committing to building an addon.

Hopefully we will be able to offer you everything you need in the future but we are unable to give any set dates for when certain features will be ready. However, full multi-site compatibility is near the top of our to-do list and we will be adding profile/cover photo compatibility for multi-site in the next release.

If you have anymore suggestions for the plugin we have created a feature suggestion forum on our site where you can suggest further improvements.

We’ve released a minor update that includes a compatibility fix with Multisite install that makes the user uploads network-wide, and not site-wide.

I wondered if it was possible to:
– Go on a member’s profile when we click on his name in post comments and bbpress
– Replace bbpress profile by Ultimate Member profile
– Show bbpress informations in Ultimate Member profile (list of recent reply and topics for example)
– Show meta data anywhere using shortcode (Display username, any custom field, and also profile picture, etc…)

We have actually just started working on a bbpress extension for Ultimate Member. However, we are only allowed to discuss the core version of Ultimate Member on this forum and not paid for addons so I would ask you to join our community forum so we can discuss things without the restrictions placed on the WP forums.
