some TLD s not work

    Hello

    Some tld’s not working.

    .ca, .de, .it, .pl, .tk

    Display “error” message on results.

    Whois error message “fsockopen(): Unable to connect to whois.nic.it:43 (Connection refused)”.

    Port 43 needs to be opened by your hosting provider, otherwise the whois queries won’t work.
    You can find the requirements for whois queries in the plugins settings under system info.

    Whois works perfectly for others ltd’s.

    Search for other ldts’s works also correctly.

    I have problem only on these ltd’s.

    I have this error message when i search for “hello.de” :

    That is really strange since technically all whois servers are queried the same way.
    All I can think of is that your servers ip is blocked by the whois server or that your server is blocking the connection to the whois servers.

    Port 43 enabled. Everythings work properly.
