Some users need to click twice on submit button

Hi!
We are observing a strange issue in one of our client sites.

There are more than 10 different contact forms on their site and usually everything works just fine. But some users get an error message (“Message could not be sent, try again or contact us”) when they click on the submit button. Then, those users who try to click on submit button again, manage to submit the form with success message followed after.

I read other threads with similar problems but still can’t figure out what is wrong. We are not using any addons for CF7. Any clues where I should look? Can it be related to recapthca version 3? Any ideas?
