Some Vimeo videos do not lazy load (no thumbnail)

  • Hello,
    on the front page of my site are two different posts, each one embedding videos from Video. The videos are “embed” blocks from Vimeo.
    The first article has thumbnails displayed instead of the Vimeo player : that is nice.
    The second directly loads the Vimeo player without any lazy-loading thumbnail.
    Am I doing something wrong ? Is there any way for the second post’s videos to be replaced by the thumbnail instead ?

    P.S: Incidentally, when I change the type of thumbnail (for example black pulse) the thumbnail does not update to show the new type. Related or not ?

    Update :
    actually, NO videos lazy-load from Vimeo. (I misinterpreted what I saw initially)

    Reading about makes me think that this has to do with the new embed method of the Gutenberg editor. If that is the case it seems to mean there is no way to lazy load videos from the embed block…

    Can anyone confirm/infirm ?
