Someone created a website using my email

  • I’m getting a ton of www.ads-software.com emails from the site below. I’ve never received any emails to activate, only a change email request from admin. How do I get this fixed?

  • I don’t quite understand the connection. Do you know the website at all and do you have an account there or did you have one? I would recommend that you contact their administration to remove your email address if you don’t want to receive any more emails from them.

    No, I do not have an account there. I have no connection with this site whatsoever. They used my email address and now I am getting spammed. It’s all in Japanese. I can’t get a hold of anyone who runs the site.

    Unfortunately, nobody can help you here. The website may be powered by WordPress, but no one here has access to it. Also, the emails do not come from www.ads-software.com, as www.ads-software.com does not send any emails from other websites. However, the name may appear in the e-mails if the e-mail templates have not been adapted.

    Another idea would be to set up a filter in your email inbox. If the e-mails have some common feature, such as the sender’s address, you could have them filtered out.

    Their contact form even goes to my email address, so that’s useless unfortunately.

    Try to create a filter/rule to block these emails in your email interface…
