On one of my sites, I have noticed that a post is missing on the website. Upon finding in logs I have got the following information:

    2008
    10-28-2020
    2:26:08 PM System
    127.0.0.1 Post Deleted
Permanently deleted the post POST TITLE
    ID: 92249
    Type: wswebinars

You can also check the screenshot at https://ibb.co/C5nJFpc

Can you please tell who is ‘System; and how can I track this user.

    Hello @iamriz89

Thank you for using our plugin.

The plugin reports the user system then the change was done via the system itself. This means that the change was most probably done via an automated process on your website. It could be WordPress itself, or maybe some plugin you have running that’s task is to delete posts.

Typically you’d see such processes running on a daily basis, however, they delete draft and posts revisions not published posts.

The best way to troubleshoot this is to go through the list of plugins and check which of them can delete posts etc, or check if you have some sort of “database cleaning plugins”.

I hope the above helps. Should you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
