    my Genesis theme

If you have a Genesis Framework (StudioPress) child theme then GSM is compatible (the dropdown shows on your category edit screen).

Thanks Ron but I don’t see it. Sorry to be such a noob but if I look at posts>>categories>> I see a “Edit Category” screen where I have a dropdown to set the parent for the category but I don’t see anywhere I can assign a different menu to the sidebar (header in the sixteen nine theme) location when viewing the category or pages in the category.

I want to replace the default menu with a sub menu. So for the category months I want a menu that shows Jan, Feb, Mar etc. instead of home, cat1, months

can I do this natively in the genesis framework? Am I just looking in the wrong place?

    Thanks

Simple menus is for assigning a menu to a menu location. Genesis Simple Sidebars is for assigning sidebars to the primary & secondary sidebars.
