• Few years back I decided to give a try to this gallery but didn’t like the way it works. This time it was even worse – it works unpredictable. Works fine on local host and almost crashed live site (with same configuration). But the worst thing – from my point – was the “support”. Looks like persistent problems just ignored. And I found that problem I was facing have been posted again and again and again… but no solution except very basic advice (if at all) to check this and that (even though users said they already tried all before asking).
So it either works or not – God knows why. But this is not the product I would use or pay for.

@ruslendingur – There are always other additional avenues of support we offer such as submitting a Bug Report (https://www.nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/) which allows us to get more details and a better handle on an issue but in general, as the forum rules state (https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Forum_Welcome#Where_To_Post) it is always best to start a new topic for your specific issue as it is considered a better representation of a plugin and what if any issues it may have … not to mention also being considerate of other forum posters.

It also provides an opportunity for those people offering support to focus on a single site and work with that topic starter to get things resolved.

As it is, you are welcome to submit a Bug Report if you choose to go back to using NextGEN Gallery (and still experience issues) as one of your last comments stated you were done with NextGEN Gallery and have chosen to leave this one-start rating as your parting remark.

    Thanks!

    One more time.
I said that I had exactly same issue – blank popup window, one image uploaded to the gallery etc. Exactly same!
And both of us are not novice. I installed 20+ WP blogs, tested 50+ themes and even more plugins. And I tested NG gallery on localhost first – it works right from the box. And it was installed in very “harsh” environment – with several running plugins for image handling. So I thought “Well, this time it looks like a robust stuff”. Then I install it on live site – with a couple thousand images already there (that I can’t use anyway as NG gallery doesn’t use WP media library). Then no matter what I did – a couple of fresh installation over FTP, deactivating everything, changing theme (and it’s a pain for live site) etc – the result was same.
And you keep ignoring the issue – gallery has some critical bug that stops it in exactly same manner on two different sites/servers. And I’ve been using my host for 10+ years (but they won’t reconfigure their system because one WP plugin doesn’t work).

@ruslendingur – To quote from the page I linked to:

Unless you are using the same version of WordPress on the same physical server hosted by the same hosts with the same plugins, theme & configurations as the original poster, do not post in someone else’s thread. Start your own topic.

I was only asking you follow the forum rules as they are stated.
