After a customer complaint about this issue, I placed an order using my credit card info (not PayPal).

I filled out all of the information and clicked on Visa underneath the PayPal button. Made sure to check the terms and conditions, and after submitting, I received pop up box saying “Something went wrong. We’ll take you back to check out so you can try again.”

There is a “Try Again” button, which I clicked and it immediately took me to PayPal guest check out.

Any thoughts on what is causing this?

  • Hi?@twowithink,

Thanks for writing to us about Braintree for WooCommerce! I’m sorry to hear that the plugin isn’t working as expected. I am happy to help with this. ??

As a first troubleshooting step, I’d like to try to rule out a theme conflict causing the issue here. Would you please temporarily switch to a default theme, such as Storefront or Twenty Nineteen, and let me know if the issue persists?

    Cheers,
    Benjamin

    Hi,

This was not a theme conflict situation. It seems to have resolved, so possibly it was just a temporary PayPal glitch???

    Thanks.

    Hi @twowithink,

Well, that’s good news, I think! ?? I’m really not sure what would have caused it based on this. I’m so glad to hear that it’s working!

Is there anything else I can help with?

    Cheers,
    Benjamin
