• Hi there,

There is an alert that says …”Something went wrong, please try again!” when a network connection is lost. I see this is the generalError configured in the settings page. Is there suppress/ disable it completely?

The reason for asking is I have created a PWA and have set a custom offline page for when a connection is lost or not present and this alert stops that page from loading until its dismissed.

    Thanks

  • Hi,

The plugin is certainly not designed to work in offline apps, since it relies on constant communication with the mapping backend, so I don’t really see a workaround for that.

Anyway if you want to supress it you can try modifying the wpsl-gmap.js file by hand and locating the lines with the label “generalError”, although it is not very advisable since subsequent updates of the plugin will wipe all of the changes you do.

Thanks, I’ll take a look at that js file. I agree fully it is pointless to have it offline bit I just want to create and offline message that fits my UI.
Thanks for the great support as always!

    Our pleasure ??
