    Hi support,

I am unable to complete the Facebook Connection flow. There are no issues when going through the connection dialogs on Facebook, the error only seems to be happening when I get redirected back to connect.woocommerce.com/auth/facebook.

I get a “Something went wrong when connecting to facebook! Please try again” error.

    I’ve tried:

    • Removing the WooCommerce app from App Integrations
    • Ensure my 2FA is setup, I even removed it and added it again
    • Deactivated & Deleted the plugin and removed all option_names in wp_options starting with “wc_facebook_”

It worked when I did this last week, however, since then I had deleted all Items from the catalog on the commerce manager and wanted to “reconnect” WC to FB. Only this time, it’s not working.

The Pixel is working on the frontend, however, when looking at Status -> Logs, I see this:

    • Could not send Pixel event: Cannot create the API instance because the access token is missing.
    • There was an error trying sync products using the Catalog Batch API for job c9ed05334375b5f64075b0642f69a327: Cannot create the API instance because the access token is missing.
    • Unable to detect valid feed configuration: No catalog ID
    • Could not send Pixel event: Cannot create the API instance because the access token is missing.

Anything I can try to get this to work? It seems like the oAuth flow in connect.woocommerce.com/auth/facebook is failing.

  • Same problem here. I have tried to re-install the plugin, but it didn’t work.

Hi there! @vipelabs Thank you for a very detailed post here.

I am wondering if something may have gone wrong when deleting database items manually.

Could you download this plugin tool here: https://d.pr/f/ek5BQl

This will add “Reset” option: WP Admin > WooCommerce > Status > Tools > Reset Facebok for WooCommerce settings click “Reset” https://d.pr/i/19UJUR

After that, please retry the connection workflow and see if you could complete the connection.

Let us know how it goes!

Thanks for the tool. I followed the instruction, but it didn’t work. Any other advice?

    @woonami

I just used the tool and after resetting it said “No settings to reset”

However, I tried the connection workflow again and it worked!

    Thank you!

    Hi @vipelabs

Thank you for letting us know you were able to run the connection workflow again and get set up, I’m glad to hear it is working for you!

I’ll go ahead and mark this thread as resolved for now but please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

@leonchien could you please open up a separate thread for your issue so we can provide additional support.
