Something with Extended Tracking causing sudden slowdown

    We’ve been using Pretty Links Marketer for years without issues, and suddenly today we noticed the redirecting of our links are taking 10+ seconds to redirect. I looked on the Pretty Links website and it suggested disabling Extended Tracking features and sure enough, that fixed the problem. But, here’s the problem: We didn’t have performance issues before and we run our Pretty Links installations on a default, clean version of WordPress – no themes, no plugins except Pretty Links. Nothing’s changed on WordPress or our hosting.

    Could there be an issue with a third-party service the Extended Tracking is using? We really want the extended tracking features but the 10+ seconds for redirect will not work.
