The plugin doesn’t work or I have some other problem with the number configuration on Facebook Business, because I have tried everything and it doesn’t send the messages, I have done many tests and it doesn’t work, one thing is that the number is virtual from TexNow but the number sends text and voice perfectly, it was verified by Facebook. Now I tried from your demo and it didn’t work either, so I have many doubts and I am really interested in buying the plugin from you, besides I see excellent support and documentation and I like that, please I need you to help me with this.

    Hello @havanatelcom ,

Please ensure that your virtual number is functioning correctly without any issues before testing our plugins. Follow these steps:

    1. Navigate to FacebookWhatsApp API SetupStep 2: Sending Messages with the API. (Reference image showing in 12 at https://sevengits.com/docs/wc-messaging-pro/#facebook-whatsapp-configuration )
    2. Use the API to send a “Hello World” message to one of your test numbers.

If the message is successfully delivered, we will provide further assistance with our plugin. However, if the message is not delivered, you must resolve the issue with your virtual number setup before proceeding with the plugin testing.

    Thank you!

Believe me, I have already done everything as it should be, over and over again and the messages still do not arrive, everything is verified, the number receives voice and text, Facebook approved and verified it but it does not work

    Hi @havanatelcom,

Please ensure that your Facebook settings are correctly configured. As mentioned earlier, confirm that you can send a Hello World template message directly from the Facebook dashboard. If the message is not being sent from the Facebook dashboard, it indicates an issue with the Facebook configuration itself.

A screenshot link for your reference is attached below.

Once the issue is resolved and verified on Facebook’s side, you can proceed with configuring the WC Messaging plugin. Let us know if you need further assistance. Thank you!

It is sent perfectly with the phone number that they give as a test but not with the one that I added from TexNow, but that number works perfectly in the sense that it receives calls and texts and the Facebook verification code arrived perfectly and is verified by Facebook, I have reviewed everything, with temporary and permanent tokens from the system user, I have already added payment methods to the account to the WhatsApp application, I really don’t know what to do anymore.

And it is configured exactly as it appears in the screenshot you sent me and in the tutorial and instructions you give.

    Hello @havanatelcom,

When creating a WhatsApp app via Facebook, the test number provided by Facebook works correctly, allowing you to send messages to up to five test numbers.

However, if you add a number from services like TextNow, you might encounter issues sending messages to test numbers. In such cases, follow these steps:

    1. Set Up the Plugin with the Test WhatsApp Number:
Configure the plugin using the test WhatsApp number provided by Facebook. Ensure that messages are triggered correctly when order statuses change. Use only the test numbers (up to five) when creating orders, and verify that the “hello_world” messages are delivered successfully.
    2. Create System User Integration:
If the test number is working fine:
    • Create a system user and generate an API token.
    • Update the plugin settings with the new API token, but do not change the test WhatsApp number, phone ID, or business ID.
    • Test the system again to confirm that messages are still being delivered successfully to the test numbers. If they are, the system API is correctly configured.

    3. Switch to Your Own WhatsApp Number:
Once all steps are verified and working:

      • Update the plugin settings with your actual WhatsApp number, phone ID, and business ID.
      • Perform final tests to ensure the messages are being delivered correctly.

      Important Notes:

      • Throughout all steps, use only the “hello_world” message template for testing.
      • Avoid making unnecessary changes to the test number, phone ID, or business ID during initial testing to prevent configuration issues.

By following these steps, you can systematically ensure that the integration works smoothly before transitioning to your actual WhatsApp number.

The notifications are reaching the administrator and the client but only with the “hello_world” template with the real number, not the other messages, I need help with this to see if I can buy the plugin from you once and for all

      Hi @havanatelcom ,

If the hello_world message is sending successfully, it indicates that your API and settings are configured correctly. Currently, our plugin supports only text-based templates. Templates for PDFs, images, or catalogs are not available in the plugin settings at this time. However, we plan to introduce support for these in future updates.

With the premium version, you can send and receive documents directly through chat. We are continually improving the plugin’s features based on user input, just like this.

If you’re using variable-based message templates, refer to this tutorial for guidance on creating custom variables in your messages:https://sevengits.com/add-custom-parameters-on-wc-messaging-templates/

When contributing to this thread, please be as specific as possible about the issues you’re encountering. This will help other developers who might face similar challenges to find useful solutions by reviewing this discussion.

It is not clear to me what relation this tutorial has for adding parameters to the template, with the fact that it only sends notifications with the hello_world template and not the ones I customized and approved in business.facebook, on the other hand, if so, is that code exactly what I should add in function.php or should it be customized? Because I see that it gives an example about a woocommerce reservation but I don’t know if it applies to my particular case.

      Hi @havanatelcom ,

please update latest version and sync message from WooCommerce->settings->WC messages->?templates->sync now

If your message template includes multiple custom variables, make sure to add those variables using the filter we recommended in the thread above. If you’re uncertain about the implementation, feel free to share your code and relevant screenshots here, and we’ll assist you further.

      Thank you!
