Sometimes can’t drag a block inside a column

    I’ve noticed in a multi-column layout using a Kadence blocks row, I can’t always drag things in the second row. It’s like the side up/down/drag icon is covered by the left row or something. It’s frustrating because it comes and goes. Today I managed to duplicate a block and THEN that block did have the icon so I could move it.

    Is anyone else seeing this issue? Trying to figure out if it’s just my site so I can troubleshoot a bit more.

  • Hey,
    In Gutenberg currently, it doesn’t let you drag something out of an inner block if it’s the only thing in a block. So if you only have one block in a column the drag fields won’t show. If you add even a blank paragraph block before or after then you can drag away. Is that what you are experiencing?

    Ah, I just did a test and you’re correct. That makes sense. At least now I know it’s not a bug and how to get around it.
