Sonar theme squishes page if set to full width

  • I’m trying to add a page for a forum on my site. I’ve added a new page template and adjusted the Style file. But when I adjust the width in the style file, all it does is make the page wider, but squish it back so it really isn’t full width. Is there another setting inside this theme to adjust? I know there must be a way to do it because the theme still shows color and header graphics to the left and right of the page.
    Thanks in advance if anyone knows how to do this.

    You can see how the other pages look, but this page when I created the new style it appears it does make it wider, but then it stretches it back. Maybe this theme is “fixed” and doesn’t allow it. But I know there are ways to get items outside the left/right areas because I accidentally had my Amazon banner all the way to the right once. If for some reason I cannot make this full width. I’d at least like to have the sidebar on the right outside so I get a bit more room for the forum area.     You can see their forum is full width with a sidebar, but their other pages outside the forum are as mine is currently in layout.
