Make the Divi Builder (!) the default WP Editor.
The Divi Builder is one of the best tools to edit your website.
Every one of my clients uses it without any problems – even those, who are afraid to delete the Internet.

    — I know that is is a commercial plugin, but maybe you find a way to include it, with advantages for both sides..

This “Gutenberg” -Editor is not ideal 100% ..
I am very disappointed of the WordPress team. :-/

    This Editor makes WordPress WORSE!
I can never imagine my mother edit her Pages with this Editor.. its just not user friendly and way to complicated..

Thanks @krugmedien for testing the new editor. I see you really like Divi, that’s great is there anything in particular you think should be learnt from it as an experience?

While I see the appeal of using one of the fully fledged builders out there as a drop in replacement for the current editor it is not the best approach.

I use the one you mention and like everything else, including Gutenberg it doesn’t cover all use cases, or peoples workflows. Some people may prefer any of the other page builders and it’s not something that should be forced on users who prefer to work directly with code and HTML. In addition, it’s better if the vendors of page builders compete. Competition leads to better products.

    Hi Tammie,
there are many things that are bad in Gutenberg. :-/

    One example:
I created 4 columns and now want to move a block in one of my columns.
I marked the area where I have to move my cursor to do this with an orange box:
    https://jan-krug.de/draganddrop.jpg
    Do you see it?
Users of Gutenberg have to search for hidden drag and drop fields..
Now try to explain this to your customers. ??

The creating of the 4 colums was already hard enough..

    Another example:
In the middle there is a Plus (“Insert Block”).
When you click on “Insert Block” an empty line is added with a new plus on the left side which says “Add Block”.

The whole Editor feels like i have to do so many unnecessary clicks to do simple stuff..

The “Search for a block” -Popup is not intuitive.
It feels like so much work to simply search for the block you want.
Working with Gutenberg is not fun at all..
