  • Are you the site owner/web dev, etc or a client (web visitor)?

    Sorry, the site owner.

I think it has something to do with NoSpamNX. I had changed the operating mode from Mark as Spam to Block (as recommended). Just changed it back to Mark as Spam. I am no longer getting that message, but my comments are still going to the spam folder.

A visitor complained a couple of days ago that her comment never posted, and I found it in spam. It wasn’t. Not sure how to fix that either.

Wondering if I should just deactivate the plugin.

If you are having problems with that plugin, you should post on the specific forum here:

https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/nospamnx (post box at the bottom of the page)

Be very weary of anyone who insists there comment must show – they can contain url’s to malware sites, porn sites, etc…be vigilant and check this comment for a link to a bad site or errant (bad) code…

Yes, thank you for the warning. The visitor was a friend of one of my administrators, so I knew was safe. Even my admins posts are going to the spam folder.

Thanks for the forum link ??

This statement has gotten a huge number of websites hacked…please review here (search above) how to keep a site from linking to bad sites.

Thank you for your concern. But my site is well protected. I would not move a post from the spam folder unless I was absolutely sure it was safe to do so.

Problem was that all our comments were going to the spam folder. Not just a select few. We have the issue fixed for now.
