I’m running WooCommerce with the Storefront theme. I only have one payment option available (CoD, but I changed the name to ‘Payroll Deduction’ since that is what the client needs). Sometimes the cart works fine. I placed three test orders with no issue. Now I am getting this error:

I’ve tried changing payment options, offering multiple payment options, switching browsers … and I get the error sometimes but not always. Sometimes all available payment options (if I have tried offering more than one) show up, other times none at all. It’s incredibly frustrating.

I have no idea where to begin looking for a fix for this as nothing seems to make a difference and it’s so sporadic.
