Just checked your site and it works for me. It tracked my visit correctly (you should be able to see a single post on your widget now).

Oh, I didn’t know it tracks only the views from now on. Is there any way it could use all the views to my posts until now? Otherwise it will only be showing the newest posts, not including the previous views for the older ones.

Unfortunately, no. The reason is that WordPress itself doesn’t keep track of the visits, hence why this plugin was created.

Only a post is registered within the 30 days / and all time data….

I’ve added the plugin to my site and I see in the plugin setting the posts that I hit listed, but nothing is showing up on my widget.

I’m just trying to show posts in specific category which have been hit in the last 24 hours.

Just checked your site. Nothing seems to be wrong with the plugin as it is registering visits correctly.

I visited two of your most recent posts and I’m guessing neither of them belong to the category you mentioned, which is why nothing is showing up on the sidebar.

In your case, WPP is unable to track visits because of the Polylang plugin. My plugin doesn’t support it officially, but there’s a workaround so it doesn’t cause problems.

My site is in Hebrew at https://velvetunderground.co.il/. It has all time data, but nothing in the last 30 days.

I recently disabled the Heartbeat API, does your plugin rely on it to work?

No, the plugin doesn’t use the Heartbeat API. Do you have a caching plugin installed?

Yes, WP Fastest Cache. I cleared the cache now, nothing changed.

Alright, is Data Sampling enabled? (see Settings > WordPress Popular Posts > Tools). If so, please disable it and clear WPFC’s cache again.

Done. Still no data.
Ajaxify widget is enabled.
WPP Cache is enabled.
Data sampling is now disabled.

There’s a database error on your site preventing WPP from updating the views count.

Someone else reported this not long ago, you might want to check it out: WordPress database error: duplicate entry.
