Every other day there seems to be an issue with this plugin. ??

The short code seems to be visible on our main page (for now).

The list of schedule and events is visible; however, you can’t navigate to previous events or view by month or day. And when you click on any of the events you get the page that says “Sorry! That Page Doesn’t Seem to Exist.”

    Please help.

    Hi @titosmeow ,

It looks like you’re experiencing what’s called a 404 page.

Our team has put together the following knowledgebase article for these instances.

@tristan083 Thank you. It appears that now everything to do with the Events Calendar is not working. ??

It just says there are no events.

    I’m sorry to hear that, @titosmeow .

May I please know if you were able to regenerate your permalinks in the process and if you’re running the latest versions of the The Events Calendar plugins?

    Thread Starter titosmeow

    (@titosmeow)

@tristan083 I followed the instructions regarding permalinks; however, it was already set to “post name”. Not sure if I was supposed to save to something else and then switch back?

We are running the latest version of the Events Calendar (as far as I know). It is 6.1.3.

There is no longer a “sorry that page doesn’t exist”. It just now says there are no events even though there are lots.

Nevermind, it appears that it is still saying “There are no upcoming events”

now it appears to be back to the previous issue? Schedule shows up; however, cannot view each event individually, cannot click to view previous events list, or to filter by month or day.

    Hi @titosmeow

If you still get a “Page Not Found” (or 404) error when visiting the event individually, try clicking the “Save Changes” button on the Permalink Settings page without making any changes. This flushes the site’s cache and often resolves the issue.

If the issue persists, kindly provide the name of your hosting provider and the values of the following below (from Events > Troubleshooting). This will enable me to investigate if there are any related issues that could be causing the problem.

    • Custom Tables Migration Status
    • Custom Tables Health Check

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Hi @titosmeow

I understand how frustrating it can be to encounter issues like these. Let’s continue our discussion on this thread, as it’s important to keep all related queries together.

Could you kindly try re-saving the event that’s causing the 404 error and let me know if that helps?

Additionally, could you share the name of your hosting provider and the URL of the affected event? This will help me investigate the issue further on my end. Looking forward to your reply.

@d0153 There is no longer a 404 error. Please read my full posts, as I have said this multiple times now, which is why I asked if I should start a ne post thread. ??

The website now says that “There are no upcoming events.” (even though there are many).

I have tried resaving as well as editing events.

    Hi @titosmeow

I apologize for any confusion my previous suggestion may have caused. I encountered a 404 error when trying to access this event, and I assumed it was one of your upcoming events. And that is why I previously suggested resaving it and seeing if that will help.

Since resaving doesn’t help, please try the following:

    • Flush your caching plugin and server-side caching. Try to temporarily disable them if possible, and check if it helps.
    • Temporarily disable the CDN (if active) from your server.
    • If you have Yoast SEO, please try disabling it. (sometimes, it regenerates the rewrite rules that also affect the single event pages resulting to 404s)

Let me know how it goes.

    Thread Starter titosmeow

    (@titosmeow)

@d0153 Thank you for letting us know that we still have the 404 error. :/

Cache has been flushed (although not entirely sure what server-side caching means?)

    CDN is disabled.

We got rid of Yoast as we found to many issues with it.

Now the Events page is completely broken?

@d0153 Do we need to revert back to a previous version of the Events Calendar? If so, which one?

We really need our calendar back online. ??
