Go to your post and click on the screen option on top of the admin bar. check the comment box and you should be good to go. WordPress has disabled the comments for post by default for some reason. if you’ve already done that you should check the sing.php to see if it’s asking for the comments.

I didn’t see that option and I have no clue what sing.php is. ??

The “screen options” is on the top-right-hand corner of the post page. where it says Howdy Admin and Help.

I had the comments work fine. My last post just showed the “Sorry The comment form is closed” phrase.
The Comments option on the “Show on Screen” is clicked, but still it does not allow comments.
Do you have any suggestions?
