    Hello,
I’m trying to edit Elementor Landing Pages but when I click on “Edit with Elementor” button I get this message:

“Sorry, the content area was not found in your page.
You must call the_content function in the current template, in order for Elementor to work on this page.”

I can’t even open the pages because I get the “Whoops, no result found!” error message.

    What’s the problem?

Here’s what I tried to do to solve the issue:

    – Following Elementor guidelines (https://elementor.com/help/the-content-area-was-not-found-error/)
    – Switching to WP default theme
    – Resetting WordPress Permalinks (Settings > Permalinks > Save Changes)
    – Rolling back to a previous version of Elementor
    – Upgrading PHP version to latest version
    – Optimizing SEO data

My last resort is adding the <?php the_content(); ?> line, but I don’t know where I need to place this code.

    Can you help me?

    Thank you.

Update: I noticed that if I set the landing pages to “Draft mode”, I can edit them without any problem. Once I publish the templates, they don’t seem to exist.
I also deactivated all of my the plugins and re-activated them one by one, but the problem persists.
