    Just installed this plugin along with buddypress. Everything seemed to work until I tried to create a galley as admin in the website backend. When I try to upload any media (all types enabled) I get this message:

    trail1.jpg(177 kb)x Sorry, the upload functionality is disabled temporarily.

    I also notince that the gallery status dropdown is blank both in admin and on the frontend.

    I have searched these forums and those of buddypress with no resolution to my issue. The page I am having an issue with is:

    This site is in development and is running on IP address at the moment.

    Please advise.

    I’m having the same issue.

    I see that the above post is over two weeks old, and I see no sign of a response to the problem. The status is “non-resolved.”

    I’ve been checking various Youtube gallery plugins for a new WordPress site I’m building. I thought I’d found a winner with the MediaPress gallery, but given the absence of a response to this issue, I think I’ll have to keep looking — this isn’t the sort of issue one can have just hanging around in the background.

    Pity, as the plugin otherwise looks great. Thanks anyway…I’ll check back to see if this gets answered as I’m curious as to the nature of the problem.
