  • I also need help with this. I created a custom user role, that also needs access to this plugin, but it shows this error. It’s probably only working for admins by default. Is it possible to fix this using functions.php? Thanks.

I’m also having similar issues getting: Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access /wp-admin/options-general.php on this server. Based on my research the two most common issues for this is file permissions (I checked this with my host and all is fine), and a corrupt .htaccess file. I’ve deleted and had WP rewrite a clean file to be sure that wasn’t it. I also read that de-activating Yoast plug-in might help and that didn’t help either. I noticed on your plug-in page as I was getting to this support page that this plug-in isn’t tested up to WordPress 5.5. Could that be the issue? Do you have an updated version compatible with 5.5 coming? I use this plugin on all our sites, we think it’s great.
