  • Suddently my wp-admin page says:

    Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.

    I have already disabled all plugins by renaming the plugins folder to plugins.hold.

    Any ideas how to fix this issue?

  • Hi @marktopper,

    Is this happening in all the browsers? Have your tried clearing browser cache. If that does not resolve the issue, access your server via SFTP or FTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel, navigate to /wp-content/themes/and rename the directory of your currently active theme. This will force the default theme to activate and hopefully rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).

    Renaming the current theme folder, ends up the site being blank.

    Any other ideas?
