Freshly installed Pie Register – Basic (Version 3.8.3.6). Activates fine and creates the default pages. When clicking on “Settings” link it goes to the /wp-admin/admin.php?page=pie-settings page but gives me the error “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”

I’ve tried using both WordPress 6.6.1 and WordPress 6.5.5. PHP Version: 8.1.29 PHP Sapi: fpm-fcgi. Pie Register – Basic is the only plugin installed. Using Twenty Twenty-Four theme. Strange thing is I have it working on another site on the same server with all the same PHP settings, but I configured it in a previous version of WordPress (that’s why I tried WordPress 6.5.5).

    Hi,

This issue seems to be environment related and might be linked to user permissions. Can you please confirm that you’re logged in as an administrator user?

    Thank you,

Yes, I’ve done all the steps listed on Google to solve typical WordPress permission issues. As I said in the original post, it works fine on another site in the exact same environment with the same PHP settings (memory allocation, etc). It only happens when I click on the “settings” link, but works fine on another site when I click on the same link. I can create an admin account for you if you’d like?
