    I am using the plugin Frontend Publishing (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/front-end-publishing/) and installed User Role Editor to make it so authors could not delete their posts. However, after I installed User Role Editor, authors are no longer able to attach images and get the error “Sorry, you are not allowed to attach files to this post.

    The upload_files option is checked and the upload seems to work, it just won’t attach. Is there another setting for allowing roles to attach that is missing from the list?

    I tried deleting User Role Editor and reinstalling, but even with the plugin removed it won’t let authors attach. Prior to installing your plugin everything worked fine.
