I’ve had the SVG plugin installed and working for years and for some reason recently, when I try to upload an SVG picture in the media section I get this error:

Sorry, you are not allowed to upload this file type

I am using the latest version of the SVG plugin, it is enabled and on WordPress 6.4.2.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I’ve had the same issue on my multisite. It works on the primary domain but not the subsite.

I figured out the problem by disabling every plugin and trying to upload. I could upload SVG with the SVG support plugin only enabled until I enabled my OceanWP theme. It turns out that the OceanWP theme has introduced their own SVG support which broke this SVG support plugin. I just enabled the OceanWP SVG support option.

    Hi,

Yes, figured that out yesterday too. I needed to go to settings in my OceanWP theme and turn on “enable SVG”. After that, it worked like a charm.

Thank you for sharing this requirement with that specific theme.
