"Sort by" options are not

I realize that the problem may be a result of the fact that this plug in has not been updated in over a year.

I like the plug in, and it works very well in my site…but the various “sort By” options are not working correctly…I would like for the posts to show in random order. It would be great if they would put another set of random posts each time the page loads, but it appears that once a random group has been shown, it never changes.

Anybody have some insight or fixes that may assist?
