sort by Story Date?

I’d love to be able to sort by Story Date, when looking at “All Stories” in Admin. Currently it only sorts by Story Name or Published date.

Not looking for this as a new feature, I expect few people need this. Was wondering if devs or other users might help write a function I can add to functions.php that would let me sort by Story Date…
