    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    To sort this, you can of course simply click the sort arrow in the header cell of that column, but I assume that you want that as a default value. Unfortunately, as the foundation for that list is generated by WordPress (it’s the same for the Posts and Pages screens as well), there’s no real easy way to set the default from what I know, without having to modify WordPress core files ??

    I had a similar need to sort my tables to default to the latest modified as I had so many in the back end and got around it using this:

    https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/admin-menu-editor/

    You can then add a link in your menu using the custom URL generated when you sort the TablePress tables using the arrow in the header cell.
