Sort events

Hi @andrea2706,

You can click on the heading called “Event date/time” in the All Events listing to sort by the event date (click again to reverse order), and you can click on the heading called “Post Date” to sort by the order in which the events were updated or published. You can’t set the default sort order though.

It’s very frustrating to be told by the authors that something is not possible, when we see it is. Also very frustrating to not get responses. Still no reply to some of my requests over 10 moths ago. All I’m looking for is a way to reverse the sort order in posterboard view (or any view for that matter), so that new gigs come up first, so that views don’t have to scroll all the way down to see new events.

If you look at the site I referenced, you will see that what I want to do is possible, yet no one can say how it’s done……

No need to repeat the contents of a separate ticket by hijacking this one — as it is against the rules of the WordPress support forum. Repeating your ticket contents and arguing over nothing will not get your request resolved any sooner. And again, as I repeated in your ticket, I repeat again, it is not possible to reverse the sort order of event listing on the front end of the calendar. The calendar you provided is using an old and outdated version of our plugin, Version 2.5.15, and it is showing events in random, not reversed, order (it’s a bug which was fixed).

I also provided you with an answer and the proper channel to fulfull your request but you chose to ignore it. If you do not wish to follow the proper channels then there is nothing more that can be done.
