Sort feature Filters

It appears that the “Sort” function actually works as a “filter” function for custom Labels. I want to make sure “Available Home” is the label that sorts to the top, but want all my listing to display. I’ve created and applied that label, but when I set the default sort to “Available Home”, that’s the only one that shows. I want them all to show, with “Available Home” listings at the top.
