sort listings by name

    Hey there

    I’m using this plugin for a member’s directory on a site. The format we’ve set up is: it shows all the listings together on one page, we have them separated into 3 different categories. Is there any way to set up the listings shortcode so that they’re sorted by name? I see it’s available for the category shortcode, but doesn’t seem to work for listings.

    If it’s not possible to sort via the shortcode, are there any other ways to change the order of the listings so they display alphabetically?

    Hi @mrjeany

    Thank you for writing in with your question! We don’t have that ordering parameter for listings, unfortunately. Currently, the only way to control the listing sort order is in the settings under Directory > Settings > Listings > Sorting. That will apply the sort order to all listings on your site.
