    Hi,

I searched for a snippet for 5 hours on the internet, I’m not the only one who encountered the problem, but if any but no solution found.

The problem with Woocommerce is this : when you sort by price from high to low, for variable product the orderby takes into account the highest price to sort the product list: https://flatsome3.uxthemes.com/product-category/booking/?orderby=price-desc

What I would like is a sort from high to low by the lowest price of the variable product?

    Can you please help me?

    Best regards,

    Manu

  • Hi @manux006

    Thanks for reaching out!

I understand that you want to alter the results when using the sort from high to low function for variable products so that it would display the lowest price first.

What you want to achieve is a bit complex and would require customization to do it. Since custom coding is outside our scope of support, I am leaving this thread open for a bit to see if anyone can chime in to help you out.

Meanwhile, I’ve seen some articles that could be a good starting point:

    Hi Xue28,

Many thanks for your quick reply.

But don’t you think that sorting product from high to low from min prices (and not max prices) should be the way basis of the sorting function?

Don’t you have a snippet, a code hook to put inside functions.php?

    Best regards,

    Manu

    Hello,

At this time, custom development is out of the scope of this forum.

Feel free to check out the resources shared previously by xue28, or you can request further assistance from a customization expert at WooCommerce Customizations Page.

    Thank you.
