Sort Pages In Date Order

  • Hi there,
    I am new to Word Press. Once I add a page instead of a blog entry, is there anyway of sorting them in date order instead of alphabetically?

    Hmmm. OK, blog entries, ie, regular posts, are automatically sorted by date. Pages are by definition outside the date structure. Why, then, would you use a Page only to manually sort them again? Wouldn’t it be easier to make a category for the type of posts you are now using in Pages and have WP automatically sort them?

    I have an even simpler question – all I want to do is sort by date, not reverse date (default).
    ie: newest posts last. I have a travelogue, and of course, this doesn’t make sense in the “current” order ??
    I just can’t see the option, but I’ve been through the options plenty of times.
