Sort Product Category By Latest

    I’ve been trying to find out how to get my products sorted by Latest. I’ve changed the setting in the back end but it still isn’t working. Even with updating my site.

    Even my web guy can’t get this to work right. I want the latest products to be shown first in my shop – my customers want this too!

    Any help??

    There is an option to set how products are sorted by default in your store. Here’s what to do:

    1. Go to Appearance > Customize in your Dashboard.
    2. Click on the WooCommerce section and select Product Catalog.
    4. You’ll see an option for “Default Product Sorting” there.

    5. Set it “Sort by most recent” and publish your changes.

    That should set your shop page to sort by the most recently added products. If it doesn’t then that could mean that there is other code on the site that is overriding this setting. Plugins and themes are capable of altering this, so if changing this doesn’t fix it, look at the other plugins on the site and the theme and see if they are sorting this.
