Sort products by weight

Would there be any easy way or plugin to sort products on product category page based on their weight? I’m setting up a shop for ultralight backpacking equipment, and having products in the order of weight would be convenient for the customer. For example a lightweight shirts would be shown before heavyweight shirts.

There is a weight field in the shipping section of Woo product page, or perhaps custom attributes could be used?
