sort results of multiple shortcodes

Hi,

We will have 2 or 3 shortcodes on a page to show the posts by various authors. (eg,

[display-posts author=”Annie” posts_per_page=”-1″ ][display-posts author=”Bruce” posts_per_page=”-1″ ][display-posts author=”Carla” posts_per_page=”-1″ ]

They are sorted by date within the results but not in the aggregate. Is there a way to sort all of the results? Wrap it in a div? Can I have just one shortcode with all the authors in a comma separated list maybe?
