Sortable Question

  • I have 2 test entries in the page I’ve provided the url for. A question about the sortable option. I’m expecting that because I have set the RX or Scaled and Gender field to sortable that one on this page I should be able to click on the header of the table in the page and sort according to that column. That is not happening. What am I missing.

    I’m seeing that it is within the plugin settings that the data is sortable. Is there a way to have a secondary sort order. I currently have it sorted by gender but need the genders sorted by RX or Scaled.

    You can set up the sorting in the shortcode, which lets you sort by multiple fields…for example:

    [pdb_list orderby='gender,rx' order='desc,asc']

    You’ll probably need to adjust that to what you need, but you get the general idea.

    The list display on the frontend is not normally sortable by clicking on the header…the list on the admin side does this.
