    Hi,

When you go to view the whole list of sermons, is there a way to have some pull-down boxes which allow you to show only specific series, or speakers, or even years and months?

Some form of filtering would be good.

  • You can do this by adding the shortcodes listed here…

    https://www.wpforchurch.com/knowledgebase/sermon-manager-shortcodes/

Depending on your setup / theme you can either have lists or us a toggle. This is what I’ve recently done on a site…

    Hope that helps.

    Hey,
That looks awesome with what you have done.
Are you able to share a bit more as to how you did the toggles and what shortcodes you actually used on the left-hand side?
    I use the Avada theme.

    Thanks.

I use a page builder which helps me with the toggles (Elementor at the moment but I’ve used others too). I guess you could find a plugin to add toggles as a widget if you’ve not got a page builder in place. The actual shortcodes I’m using are…

    Bible Book
    [list_sermons tax=”wpfc_bible_book” order=”DESC” orderby=”count”]

    Speaker
    [list_sermons tax=”wpfc_preacher” order=”DESC” orderby=”id”]

    Series
    [list_sermons tax=”wpfc_sermon_series” order=”DESC” orderby=”id”]

Annoyingly I don’t think you can order the Bible books in actual Bible order. I’ve got a support ticket waiting on that(!).

    Hope that helps.

Thanks heaps for that. I figured it all out (was very easy, but I was losing brain power haha).

Yeah Avada has its own page builder, and it is pretty awesome.

    Thanks again.
