Sorting galleries in "Manage Galleries" problem

I used to be able to sort the galleries under “Manage Galleries” option by clicking on the ID label. It would switch from ascending to descending order so that I could see the most recent ones at the top to work with. I have just done that to get to the recent galleries and the only thing that moves is the arrow that presumably shows the sort order but they remain in the oldest to newest order.
While on the subject, would it be possible to add an option to make the sort order “sticky” so that it always displays the most recent galleries at the top.
