    Hello !
When adding a new column (type: Custom Filed / Filed: _EventStartDate) there is a problem because the events are displayed from those that start at the latest instead of the ones we have closest. It seems to me that it would be more logical if at the beginning the ones that will be the fastest, for example in two days and not in six months, are shown. Is it possible to change it?
I am asking for help or a hint.

I’m not really sure if you have the free or pro version installed, but only the pro version has the sorting feature. Aside from that, we do have an integration specifically for The Events Calendar that has sorting for all the available Event fields, including the date. In that case you don’t need to use the custom field column and you can use the dedicated date columns.

Thank you for your answer. I have the free version. The Events Calendar already has options for sorting by event start date, but when I set the correct order, every time I enter the events list again I have to re-arrange the order I want. If you already so nice and answered me ?? Can you tell me if the PRO version will remember my settings and I won’t have to change them every time?

Do you mean the sorting of the page?
Yes, every sorting action on any column is stored as a user preference.
So next time you visit the page, it will be sorted on the last sorted column.
It is even possible to set the default sort column for a specific list screen.
