Sorting in the back end will not show in the front end

I just downloaded your plugin hoping that it would help with sorting products, not categories, since, at the moment, I only have one. When I sort the products from the backend and use Products > Sorting, the new order doesn’t show on the Shop page. I have already set the Sorting in the Customizer as Default Sorting (custom order + name) and should be able to see the order change reflected in the Shop.

But, I don’t. It’s not happening. Can you please let me know why it’s not working?
