Sorting issues – on main archive page and in shortcode usage

    Thanks for reaching out.

    We did some tests and indeed the sermons shortcode ordering isn’t working as it should, so thanks for letting us know.

    We’ll get this fixed for the next release which is due today or tomorrow.

    Hi,
    It was either not fixed or I am doing something wrong.

    I am using the following shortcode – [sermons per_page=”20″ order=”ASC” orderby=”ID”]

    result is found on the right side here –
    https://ccbce.calvarychapel.com/media/live-video/

    the sermons were created in order from 1-5 so they should be sorted from 1 to 5 as per the above code right?

    The main archive is still sorting the same way, by name within date. Is there a way to change the way the default sermon page sorts?

    Hey, sorry for the inconvenience.

    We did fix it, but orderby argument option was accidentally allowed to be only in lowercase. So, id would work, while ID would not.

    It has been fixed in 2.3.1.

    Is there a way to change the way the default sermon page sorts?

    Not at this moment, but it might be implemented in some later versions.
