Sorting not working?

    First, love the concept, thanks for the effort.

    I can see the custom config menu, and I tried to set the sorting to date ascending. But the posts in my chosen category stay sorted by date descending no matter what I try. I tried other sorting criteria, including random, and never saw any change. I must be doing something fundamental wrong, but I can’t figure it out. Any help appreciated.

  • Hi and thank you for using my plugin.

    I’ve used %post_date and tested ordering by date descending and ascending and this works as expected.

    Can you please ensure that you’ve followed the walkthrough steps detailed in the FAQ and let me know if the problem arises due to a conflict with other plugins or a different theme than the default Twenty Eleven theme?

    Note that the ordering on the WordPress page that lists the posts themselves isn’t influenced by my plugin, the plugin only edits the order of the menu items it generates.

    OK, my mistake – I thought it would sort the posts. Thanks for the quick response.
