Sorting of archives by category and post title.

  • I run a web magazine and I love this plugin. It does exactly what I need it to do, except for one thing. The monthly archives are our “issues” of the magazine. I have them displayed as:

    Category – Article Title

    I want to sort them by category and then by article title. How could I go about doing that? I tried to find someplace in the code to add a sort, but I’m not sure where or how to go about it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • +1. I’d love to be able to list the posts by categories. It’s better for content than date based archives.

    Well for my needs, I need them by month/year. I just want to be able to sort them by category first and then title. Unfortunately, I’ve only managed to get them to sort by title. You can do that with an argument, but there would need to be an actual coding in the plugin to make it sort the output by category as well, which is beyond my abilities.

    No answers to this yet? This is a feature I really need as well.
