This seems like a simple thing but there appears to be no way to sort the FAQs once added. They appear to be displaying in order of date (and time) added, but this isn’t always the preferred order. Ideally having an ORDER ID field or even displaying them alphabetically (then we can number them) might work.

Indeed, I opted for the date / time sorting, because you can also manipulate the post date in the posts yourself, so this can act as a ‘sort’ field. I am afraid adding an extra ‘sort’ field would complicate things and not necessarily be an improvement over changing the date yourself, because for instance if you want to add something between 4 and 5, you have to renumber a lot of faqs potentially. But with dates, you have a lot more leeway to add in-between posts (down to seconds eventually).

What are your thoughts on this?

    Kind regards,

Yes we did indeed notice it can be sorted by date. That will have to do. Thank you for your detailed reply. We understand the difficulty of it. Usually to combat numbering issues we’d number as 10, 20, 30, 40, etc to have spaces available in between if needed. ??

Thank you for your reply. Offering a choice in the settings: order alphabetically by title, or by date published, might be a good option. I understand regarding the 10, 20, 30 of course ?? .

I will close this topic now but thank you for raising this issue. I will keep in mind that ordering the faqs can be improved, for when I next work on this plugin.
